They say talent hits a target no one else can hit, and genius hits a target no one else can see. This is the case for 20-year-old Iñaki Godoy, whose charisma and warmth shines through with every interaction. He speaks to you like a friend and holds bits of wisdom in his statements.

Last year, the world got to know him as Luffy, in Netflix’s One Piece, a live action version of a Japanese manga series, of the same name, written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It’s a character known and loved by plenty–and lucky for Godoy, he was accepted almost instantly in the tough world of book to screen adaptation. A few minutes with him, and it's clear why.

He’s a natural performer, ever since he was a little boy, and it’s a knack that seems to follow him into the early years of his adult life. He’s present and engaged, and gives you his full attention. For his cover-story, I gave him my full attention, and tried to uncover who he was when no one else was looking. Pre-order now and read the full interview.
