Fresh off his 30th Birthday, the internet’s sweetheart, Benito Skinner, known online as Benny Drama, takes a trip down memory lane and his all-American life.

The truth is–, reader, there’s absolutely no way you’re not familiar with the comedic stylings of Benito Skinner. Somewhere in your group chat history and doom scrolling, you’ve come across his skits and your day is better because of it. That’s right, Benito, known online as Benny Drama, increases your level of happiness, one character at a time. That is not only believable, but a fact. What is unbelievable however is the fact that we were almost deprived of his genius. A Benito-less world? Bleak to say the least. 

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Benito’s life, on paper, seems like the quintessential American experience–and it was, save for some moments of alienation while living in a small town. But what’s more American than that?  He’s a midwestern all-American-boy who made his instagram account public one day, and uncovered a sea of supporters who appreciated his color of funny. Years later, having just turned 30–we take a look back at the experiences that have led him to his current throne in the pop-culture pyramid. While also looking ahead at the glimmering  life he has in front of him.
